Yes! We are currently working on becoming up full service outfitters providing canoes, as well as tents, canoe packs, and other gear you would need for a trip! We are working with Manitoba Parks to ensure all our regulatory ducks are in a row. Join our mailing list to be the first to know when outfitting services become available. Backcountry Community Centre is completely self-sufficient. We create electricity with Solar Panels to power the lights and outlets and fridge, and have a propane powered hot water tank and stove. We have 2 composting toilets and 2 outhouses. We have a shower and sink in the lodge that run off of lake water heated by the hot water tank. For drinking water, we bring in culligan bottles.
